PBarry I saw both bands the other night, WOW. Blew me away. I didn't initially realize that this "split" is both bands playing together, as they did when I saw them live, nor did I understand that the VINYL has a DIFFERENT MIX than the DIGITAL release (so I picked up a 12" at the show, lol). Keeping an eye on both bands going forward!!! Favorite track: LO (Digital Mix).

mypeaceb4u One of the most unique bands I've ever met. Their music is as unique as they are. Thank you!!!!!. Love it. Favorite track: HI (Digital Mix).

apfeldieb Amazing production and sound quality on this one! Vinyl and digital mixes are completely different. Both are great on their own terms.

Joseph Wijangco Yep. Nailed it! Favorite track: LO (Digital Mix).

Eric Sträm These tracks take their time but there’s no filler. Without any one part it would be incomplete. Yet there is no more needed. More than fusion of genres or bands, this is a separate entity to be viewed as a whole. Favorite track: LO (Digital Mix).

about

LUME and REZN combine minds to create a 7-piece psychedelic doom organism on their upcoming split, 'Live at Electrical Audio': a live collaboration featuring two slow-burning, mountainous tracks clocking in at over 20 minutes total. The session was recorded live and mixed direct-to-tape by Brok Mende at Electrical Audio's Studio B, then mastered by Carl Saff and pressed to vinyl locally at Smashed Plastic for a 100% analog and 100% Chicago sonic creation.

To honor the audio fidelity of this project, the digital album features a unique digital mix by Matt Russell, while the vinyl record exclusively contains the original analog mix by Brok Mende.
